History

The Book of Doctrine and Order includes the history of the Methodist Church drawn from the 2016 Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church. It will include the historical doctrinal and creedal statements that have been embraced by Methodists throughout their history, including the Articles of Faith (1808, 1939), the Apostles Creed, The Nicene Creed and the Definition of Chalcedon.
